Description
The Finder gateway function is based on the LoRaWAN® protocols and used to send and receive messages over long distances to your Tags and is the mechanism for wake-up, location reporting, remote configuration updates and Tag operating modes. The Finder also supports the UWB radio technology for precise distance measurements within a 150m* range.
The Finder connects to your Smartphone running the TagRanger® App using it’s Bluetooth connection. This allows all Tag communications to be relayed to and from the App for visual mapping, warnings, control and data downloads. Refer to the Feature Set page for the full extent of the Finder capabilities.
The internal battery can be recharged using a microUSB cable and there is a multifunction LED to indicate operating modes. The LED can be disabled by the user through the configuration settings if not required.
Power is controlled by holding a magnet (supplied) against the Finder between the USB connector and the LED.
